Kirk Morales attended the University of Missouri where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management in May 1996, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then continued his education at the University of Missouri where he received his Juris Doctorate in May 1999. While attending law school, Kirk developed an interest in employment issues, and completed an externship during his 3rd year of law school through the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.
Kirk became licensed to practice law in California in December 1999, and has practiced in a number of areas during his career, including insurance coverage/bad faith, construction defect, legal malpractice, and general civil litigation. Before joining GMS, he also served as Assistant General Counsel for a commercial and residential construction company. Kirk now specializes in workers’ compensation defense where he represents carriers, TPA’s, and self-insureds, including the defense of Labor Code Sec 132a and Serious & Willful Misconduct claims.
