IN THIS ALERT:  Co-Founding Partner George Krikes Has Separated from the Firm. Derek Straatsma Becomes Name Partner.

After a wonderful relationship as partner and friend for over two decades one of our founding partners, George Krikes has announced his separation from the firm effective 12/31/2023. As one of our founders George greatly contributed to and shared with our partners, attorneys, staff and clients the accomplishments and success of our firm. We wish George and Pat and their family good health and happiness in all their future endeavors.

Effective 2/20/2024 the partnership will be known as Goldman Magdalin Straatsma, LLP (GMS) and we are very proud and excited to announce that Derek Straatsma has become a name partner. Derek has been a very important and integral part of the firm for over 20 years and is currently the managing partner of our Woodland Hills office. Derek has made tremendous contributions to the firm, our clients and the workers’ compensation community.

We want to ensure our clients, friends, associates, and the workers’ compensation community that our operations will not change, and that GMS will continue to provide the highest level and quality of expertise and service that you all have come to expect from us.

On February 20, 2024, our firm will adopt a new domain name. Our new email domain will be gmslawllp.com. We ask that you please notify your IT department or the person responsible for your email so that our correspondence does not get blocked by any firewalls or spam filters.
