Mr. Kerrane received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego, and his Juris Doctor from University of San Diego, School of Law. Mr. Kerrane was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998.
Mr. Kerrane started his career at a well-known insurance company as a claims adjuster, handling auto collision and homeowner’s liability claims. Following his graduation from law school in 1998, Mr. Kerrane practiced both civil litigation and Workers’ Compensation defense. He has extensive experience defending against industrial injury claims, as well as discrimination and serious and willful petitions. His civil litigation experience includes contract disputes, employment, wage and hour law, premises liability, and probate\elder abuse cases. Mr. Kerrane has successfully obtained defense verdicts and favorable judgments both at trial and binding arbitration. He continues to work in the workers’ compensation arena representing both large and small employers and their carriers. He has appeared before all Southern California workers’ compensation boards, as well as several Northern California boards.
Mr. Kerrane is also an experienced public speaker having presented Workers’ Compensation seminars to many clients.
